1. Fill the Mylar bag with your chosen food (opt for dry goods with 10% or lower moisture content).
2. Add the recommended number of oxygen absorbers (around 400cc / gallon of storage, more never hurts).
3. Push out as much air from the bag as possible, but you do not need to vacuum the air out.
4. Seal using a heat sealer, hair straightener, or clothing iron and be sure to heat seal just above the zipper seal if there is one.
5. Label with the contents and include the date it was filled for easy reference and pantry rotation.
